The classic minimalist style of Maison Martin Margiela continues with its 2011 spring/summer collection. Simple color palettes are combined with innovative and playful appropriations. Some of the most visible aspects of the collection involve leather including vests and jackets.
Here’s a look at the capsule collection between A.P.C. and Carhartt. The collaboration seems appropriate, given that both brands strive for basic, genuine designs. Accordingly, the lineup includes, jackets, t-shirts, shirts, jeans and beanies and shall be available to purchase soon at select stockists.
Jeff Koons is an American artist known for his giant reproductions of banal objects such as balloon animals produced in stainless steel with mirror finish surfaces, often brightly colored. Critics are sharply divided in their views of Koons. Some view his work as pioneering and of major art-historical importance.
